How our courses are structured

All our programmes follow a clear, modular structure that makes learning manageable, practical, and outcome-focused.

Full courses are made up of six self-paced micro-courses.
Each micro-course focuses on a specific topic or decision area and can be taken individually or as part of a bundle.

Each micro-course includes:

  • Five structured lessons

  • Clear lesson notes and guided learning material

  • In-depth academic and applied analysis of the topic

  • Practical exercises, simulations, and quizzes

  • A final applied simulation or written assignment

This structure ensures learning is both rigorous and directly relevant to real professional challenges.

Live teaching and expert feedback

At the end of each micro-course, learners take part in a live online session with the course tutor.

During this session:

  • Assignments and simulations are reviewed

  • Written work and essays receive direct feedback

  • Key themes and learning points are discussed in depth

This approach combines the flexibility of self-paced learning with the accountability and insight of live teaching.

Micro-courses can be taken individually or grouped into bundles of three, allowing learners to build knowledge around a specific theme or skill set.

Learners who complete all six “Internationalisation for SMEs” micro-courses within a full course are eligible for CPD certification, recognising the depth, rigour, and applied nature of the programme.
